: : *Has any one tried only Camphor, Henna powder and water as paste? If : : yes, What were the result? : : *Has any one tried camphor solid in the paste? : : Thank you. : If you go back on this forum you will see many results and answers : reguarding camphor. It is a stong, dangerous essential oil and should : be used sparingly. The best results are to put some in your lemmon : sugar solutin for dabbing. If you are going to put it in your : paste, make sure it is just a small batch of henna, as it tends to make : the acids in the henna accelerate, giving your henna not so long of a : shelf life. It brings excellent dark color results fast, but the : designs tend to fade quicker also, which is just fine for some people. : I haven't tried just camphor because of its adverse affects on the : skin if there is too much, I developed a rash from using it straight : on my skin for a prep and then also in my paste. It also kind of ate : up my design as well. You might want to try just camphor spirits, : actually, that was going to be my next test. Its deluted with alcohol. Thank you both of you Jenna and Zimra. I have read the earlier postings that is the reason I wanted to try without lemon and any other ingredients. I tried with the vicks and very little of the camphor solid (almost negligible) result remained the same as it would come out by adding lemon to this recipe I conclude that if henna powder is good stick to lemon and oil recipe. What do all of the readers think? Although I have not tried Ammonia and cider recipe. * Even I tried this for my self I will never try on my client and same I suggest if any one is thinking of.
