I have been trying to get to stain my skin with walnut hulls for a while, but I had no luck with "black walnut hull" powder sold at health food stores. I was about to give up when last month I saw Somthing called "van dyck crystals" sold online. They are made by squezing the juice out of fresh black walnut hulls, then boiling the juice untill it crystalizes. It has no additives, just plain boiled up walnut hull juice. It is not powder, but crystals that are being sold. I mixed this with hot water to make a thick paste. I then applied this to my skin for about 10 minutes, and the result was a dark brown stain. I washed the area with soap to make sure that the stain was for real, and it was. The only problem was that buy the next day the stain was much lighter, and by two days it was compleatly gone. 1- Is there somthing that you people use for henna, that maybee I should add to the walnut crystals to make the stain last longer (and/or darker)? 2- Do you think any factors in henna staining are simular to those of staining with walnut crystals? If so which ones(heat, ingredients used ect...) Thanks for any help anyone can give.
