My latest method for communicating that I won't do black henna is to
say that I do not have the necessary insurance coverage to protect me
from lawsuits resulting from black henna burns. I keep it to that
instead of preaching to them about the evils of black henna. Some
will get black henna regardless of the preaching and some may be
turned off by the preaching. My theory is that people will at least
stop for a few seconds to consider why one might feel compelled to
sue a henna artist for black "henna" burns and reconsider.
What do you guys/gals do when someone asks for black henna?
