I have never had to sift so I don't speak from experience, but I
remember when this thread came up a few months ago and someone
suggested using a mason jar (the ones where the lid of the jar is a
disk and a ring). You should just stretch the pantyhose over the top
of the jar, leave off the disk and screw the lid/ring on and shake.
