The two most important issues are freshness and siftedness. If the
henna is not fresh you will not get a dark stain so your money is
wasted. If you have to sift the henna a lot you not only waste time
sifting it but you also waste a lot of the henna you paid for. Look
for a powder that is green and the consistency of talcum powder or
cake flour. It may be more expensive but it will pay off in the end.
