There are ways of making people comfortable with wraps ....
and if you're working with henna paste made from powder, which is
wonderfully inexpensive (especially compared with Mud). With CA, a
wrap gives stunning results.... nearly equal to Mud. A kilo of CA
costs vastly less than the same amount of Mud.

Maybe it's just that folks that I henna are familiar with me, or maybe
because I'm grandmommyish, compliance with the wrap is excellent ..so
I rarely have problems with wrap and NS anymore.

I have a "care sheet" for the day after; an "excuse sheet" of bizarre
and humerous reasons for wearing a wrap ... and since I started
putting sparkly confetti and glitter in the last tapedown .... the
wraps seem to be a mark of honour and a fashion statement. Really ...
if your wrap has holographic flamingoes, fuschia sharks and sparkly
shiny bits .. you're willing to deal with it as long as you understand
WHY its there and WHY it's important to not f!@#$%^k it up. I explain
time after time that one night of nuisace with the wrap and one
morning of nuisance with the NS will give them results that are
absolutely spectacular ... and that pretty well convinces them.
Liquid latex is an interesting alternative, but it has some
limitations: like potentially lethal allergies, and folding in on
itselg trashes it.
Email me if you want a copy of the care sheet , or a copy of the
excuse sheet ....
