Try heat, steam, blow dryer, whatever you think would work ..... that
changes henna to your darker redder colors. Henna was used in the
Minoan world, and the the eastern Mediterranean waaaaay back when to
stain wood a dark reddish brown..... for use in nice furniture and
stuff.
Also give it a test wiping down with ammonia (repeatedly)... that
turns my henna dark on my skin.
