I'm not surprised that it helped the color, since I've had a bit of
temperature stuff recently affect the color of my henna.

It's been on and off hot, but last week I had to run out into the cold
after removing the paste. I was freezing all day long, too, so I
wound up getting a pumpkin stain.

I did my newest design with the same batch on my other hand, and tried
applying the design with my hand on a heating pad and heating the area
for an hour. I was very disappointed to see the same whimpy color as
last week when I took the paste off.

It was pretty hot yesterday, though, so I sat in a heated cubie all
day, and then I wound up sweating a huge amount in bellydance class.
The same shade developed into a coffee brown stain. (It was pumpkin
before class started.)

It's looking like heat may be an important part of the initial
aftercare, too. I'll try some side by side tests this weekend with a
heating pad. (Can't do a kettle because I'm doing my feet.)
