thanks for trying it out and reporting back to us. I doubt that lime
juice instead of lemon juice made any difference...they are there for
the ph and I think they have the same ph.

garlic and lime juice smells absolutely disgusting. I kept wrinkling
my nose while I was applying it. (Winston the rabbit also disapproves
of the smell. He wanted to sniff my fingers after I crushed the
garlic, and he did his usual bit of wanting to sniff my henna; but
once I started applying the lime-garlic stuff, he ran out of the
room.)
I guess I am not surprised that there is no difference. My henna
didn't seem any darker than usual but I hadn't done a side-by-side
comparison. Any change after a day? Let us know.
At least the nasty smell keeps pets from making a mess of
