When I was 18 (and oh-so-rock-and-roll) I got a tattoo of a skull on my left bicep (so sue me). I've never regretted it, mind you, but it was a random choice off the wall of a burly marine's tattoo shop. I was living in the moment. It is a marker of my history & "where I was at" at the time. I would never get it lasered off or anything. But I have been thinking of covering it with something more personally significant, and more pretty. Here are my problems: 1) The lines of this tattoo are fairly dense - it's not heavy & bold, but it's detailed, so it will take something fairly heavy to really cover it. I seak a feminine, pretty henna-esque design, but can't be frilly & fine. Would greatly appreciate any designs or links to galleries that you think might fit the bill. 2) I have a great tattoo artist lined up, but will he have that "henna touch"... you know, a feel for the aesthetic? I am wondering if it is safe to tattoo over an actual henna. Maybe I could have a henna artist do the design & then just have the tattoo guy make it permanent.

Any help GREATLY appreciated. I'm really looking forward to transforming the little dead guy into something truely beautiful to look at. (CCJ, I know YOU can turn me on.) Thanks.
