now, what kind of henna are you using? will any old pharmacy henna
do? or are there more 'authentic' formulas out there that i should
know about? what i'm looking for is not necessarily something redder
in tone, but rather just darker brown. is there such thing as a
brown henna without much red pigment?

thanks so much for answering! i finally found someone with a real
experience to go by. most people who have advised against using
henna have been stylists and hairdressers-->i knew there must have
been something screwy about that.
