Please tell me more about the sugaring groups! Since traditionally
shaving body hair was forbidden to women, and only sugaring or other
depilitation before hennaeing was allowed, it is certainly not off
topic to the forum. I have wondered if the sugar, lye or wax method
of depilitation was an aesthetic choice (less stubble and prickle) ,
or if it was feminine as opposed to masculine (guys get to play with
sharp objects) or if it had to do with the little freckles that occur
if you henna across a shaving nick.
I'd especially like to hear more about sugaring traditions because of
Natasha's "Bathing Beauties" class at Sirius that I'm looking forward
to taking!
