I didn't have henna done for my wedding for practical reasons: we
were doing a lot of work to prepare the reception (doing all the
cooking: Moroccan food!) and I needed to have my hands free. I wore
a Moroccan wedding dress for part of it and the henna would have been
appropriate but alas!
Catherine's idea for fingertips sounds lovely. There is a beautiful
design in Loretta Roome's book (I can get the exact page number for
you, if you'd like) of these gorgeous finger rings. They are so
elegant, yet clearly henna. I have a friend who is tempted to just
have them tattooed on so she has them all he time. Take a look at
her book....the photo is in the color photos section. I also have a
photo of the same thing from my friend's hands at my website gallery
(link below). The photos I took don't do the design justice.
