Maybe you could give the forum another chance and post your questions
and observations again. Once you feel that someone is condesending
and/or disrespectful, call them on it.
You know, though, I have seen a few individuals come and go that no
matter how someone tried to have an intelligent conversation with
them or post information that they may have not known, they've felt
threatened and lashed out and somehow got things discombobulated even
when no insult or disrespect was intended. I'm not saying this is
you, because I have no idea who you are or what conditions you are
talking about.
Another thing, looking like a class idiot is all in your response.
Why is it that some people go through life deflecting blows left and
right without a bat of the eyelash and no one thinks them inferior?
Then there are those people who don't seem to have enough sense to
know when they are right and to stand up for themselves when the
situation calls for it. I know I was that way growing up in my
family. There was a time where I put my foot down and told myself
that I wouldn't accept their criticism because I did have enough
sense and intelligence, but it was MY responsibility to make THEM see
that. I couldn't wish it out of them nor nag it out of them. My own
burgeoning sense or self-respect innately told them to back off
without verbal conflict on my part...
I really hope you don't take that as a critique because that is not
my intention. And I hope you respond.
