Black Henna in Toronto

There is a kiosk in a major mall in Toronto , very profesional, that
advertises black henna, i watched them work for awhile and looked
closely at the material, they didn^t apply a fixative, and there is
warnings about allergic reaction. I asked what they were using and
they replied henna, i said but henna doesn^t stain black it stains
red, brown, orange, they shrugged and maintained a line that they
don^t mix it and don^t know because their boss supplies it, i was
given a card and told to call the phone number with any questions,
when i phoned i was unable to get any information other than it is
henna that they use and it is a charcoal colour when the paste is
removed, they refused to give an ingredients list and would not sell
what they are using. I would like to know what it is. This is a very
profesional company in a major mall. The companies name is Picasso
Painters a division of Body X, there is a web page at body X.net, but
there is not much info on the web page. I guess i am still looking
for something that works like "black henna", without ppd or other
harmful ingredients. I was wondering if this company had something or
if it contains ppd , i don^t know and couldn^t get info from company,
and i was just passing through Toronto, or i would go back again and
again till i found some answers. There is an e-mail address on the
