One warning and this comes from personal experience...don't use sugar
in your paste. It causes the henna to stick to the paper and if you
want to remove the paste it will be impossible. If you are hennaing
a drum and want the paste to stick, you might want to be sure to
include sugar in the recipe.

Anne, I like the idea of adding oils to the paste to give the lines a
halo...I can picture the effect and it sounds great. Must try this.
