depends on what kind of tool you're using and how long you let the
henna dry before putting something over it. I have been using
lattice-type designs in henna a lot lately, and don't have problems
with it. Maybe it's a matter of practice?
I don't use newskin; it gives me a headache and I don't trust it. I
find that many gentle, careful applications of lemonsugar, alternating
with heat or a blowdryer, work very well; when I henna myself I end
up flaking most of it off in a few hours but the more ls used, the
less blurring occurs (joints are hardest)
Also, are you wrapping? I gave up wrapping myself because I sweated
too much, esp. overnight. That might be your problem...

: I've tried designs with that minute hatching and it didn't really

: and it looked great with the paste on. After I took the paste off it
: just looked blurred...no definition at all. I have pictures which
: I'll post as soon as I get them developed.

: These designs look great on paper but I haven't good results. Maybe
I
: just need to keep practicing.
