Greetings,for some reason I couldn't post a followup to your thread.
I have never had this happen, but there isn't much cultural diversity
where I have, and now, lived.
But, I have heard of this attitude. I want to say I started hearing
about it when Madonna was mehendi'd.
I can understand that woman's attitude. I would probably be upset
too if I felt that my culture was being sold as a fad. Maybe she has
just ran across too people who have had mehendi done but know very
little about it.
Keep your chin up tho. You know that you aren't ripping off her
culture and meaning to offend.
