Got a funny marbling effect when I tried oil and alcohol in my mix.Polar and non-polar solvents don’t mix. Once I got a pretty strange
marbling stain when I tried mixing oil and alcohol with my usual
paste mix. Once the alcohol evaporated the oil separated from the
water in the paste and deposited the stain unevenly. It was really
interesting. Do you use oils in your henna paste? Maybe the oils
weren’t mixed in evenly and started to separate.
