I just recently got my first henna tattoo, although I have been
wanting to get one for some time now. I am very interested in doing
this myself. I have been going over some of the postings, but I am
getting more confused by the second. I would appreciate it if
someone could e-mail me in regards to finding the ingredients and how
to actually make up the henna solution for tattooing. The technique
that was used one the one I just recently received I have yet to see
listed. She traced the design on paper with somekind of coloured
pencil, then she put deoderant on the area to be done. She applied
the stencil, then traced over the stencil with the henna solution in
a small plastic bottle with a fine metal tip. The final result I am
happy with, however after reading some of the warnings about the
black henna and the bad reactions to it, I am a little worried. The
final color of my tattoo is black. It has been over 10 hours since I
got it and I haven't had a reation yet, so I will consider myself
lucky. Any help in getting me started would be greatly appreciated.
