Any suggestions for staying cool while hennaing outdoors?

I know this was in a post that is somewhere in the archives but my
eyes are starting to cross after spending a couple of hours trying to
find the original post so...
A while back, (and I can't remember exactly when) there were some
suggestions for ways to stay cool at fairs and such while hennaing.
There were some great ideas there that would work for my belly dance
troupe and now I can't find the post. We're dancing in a Cinco de
Mayo parade Saturday and we're worried about getting overheated,
(gotta love AZ weather, apparently we're skipping Spring this year).
Anyone either remember when that post was or have suggestions?? Any
advice is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
