At Sirius, Anomie's teaching a class in stretching and relaxing all
the muscles that cramp up and hurt when doing repetitive motion stuff
.... including henna.
Fantastic class!

I think it's clove oil or some other oil you're getting sensitized to.
They make me "puff"!

I don't henna my forearms much, because the lemon juice left overnight
will actually disolve my paperthin "old-lady" skin if it's on too long
or too thick!

For the superdark stain ... were you ovulatory? Makes a BIG
difference! Or, perhaps ... had you eaten an unusual amount of meat?
This also can make a suprising difference!

I was talking to an engineer who used to manage factories where women
were employed to handwrap fine wire to make capacitors (or something,
didn't understand exactly what) ... but they kept a log of their
menstrual cycles as the acids in their fingertips changed so radically
throught the month! Similarly .. Kodak kept records on women who
worked on extremely sensitive film! Even the acid level in their
breath when ovulatory vs menstrual could make or ruin film!
