Hey, how cool, almost the exact same thing happened to me today.. An
Indaian woman came into my store and ordered some cakes.. she too
grabbed my hand and sked where I had the mehndi done, and when i told
her I did it myself, she was amazed. I said that I didn't think that
anyone in my city did mehndi, and she said, no, there is one woman,
she does wedding, etc.. She's going to bring in her name and number
when she picks up her cakes (I better make them nice =0) She also
said something about books, or henna, or something else she was going
to bring in, I CAN'T WAIT!! I was so nervous when she grabbed my
hand, I didn't know what to expect! I'll let you all know what she
gives me.. this will be interesting! At the very least, I'd like to
have my right hand done by her so I can see someone else in action!

Spreading happy news only....
Diana

: Heyla ya'll,
:
: I wanted to tell you about a neat experience I had. There is a
little
: convience store up the road from my house that is run by an Indian
: family. The other day I was in there and one of the ladies grabbed
my
: hennaed hand and showed it to another lady. They told me it was
neat
: that I had a mendi and asked me where I got it. When I told them I
did
: it myself they smiled and and said that was wonderful. One of the
: ladies only spoke Indian ( don't know which dialect ) so her
daughter
: translated. She said it was good and if I ever needed advice or
wanted
: to talk about henna to call her.
:
: Today I was in there again, and one of the ladies told me she was
: going to Houston and that she was going to bring me some henna that
is
: "really good and makes a dark stain". <G>
:
: Isn't that cool?!?
