gray hair and henna

I've always assumed that this was always the case, until I met a
few women with more than 25% gray hair who henna their hair... and
they had really lovely hair colors. I met one while I was teaching, I
was talking about the bozo-the-clown effect of gray hair and henna
and a voice spoke up saying "I beg your pardon!" She had lovely hair,
hennnaed, and was 40% gray or more. Another woman is the one with the
most amazing red hair I've ever seen... I hope I can get a picture of
it. I bet the color result depends a lot on your hair, its exact
color, the henna, its quality, etc...

I always suggest a strand test, unless you like surprises. :-P
