off on a tangent...Posted by jen on May 14, 2001 at 02:49:38: In reply to: Henna basic carry box... posted by Denise on May 13, 2001 at 17:56:33: The gel pen idea sounds interesting. Somewhere, I can't rememberwhere, I saw the suggestion of using a very soft art pencil. I tried using that to trace over drawings on regular paper, and rub them off on my skin, which worked ok, but not great. If you have tried both, which do you think works the best? I also read somewhere that someone used tracing paper, or tissue paper? Does that work better than regular paper? I would love suggestions, I've just started doing henna on myself and it's fun. I just am better at drawing on paper with a pencil than with paste on my skin... Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :) : Well, not much happening in the forum so thought we could compare : boxes and maybe give a few idea's to each other. I use a snaplid box : I converted into a carryall with a stap. I just covered it with some : fabric I got from India. Lined with cardboard for structure. It works : great. (and cute) In it I carry witchhazel water in a small spray : bottle, a cloth gerber diaper. (birdseye)I had a bunch I was given : and never opened and thought might as well use for something. They're : great for cleaning up, or laying over anything you don't want henna : on and fold very compactly. I have small baggies of cotton balls, : toothpicks, extra carrot bags and a jacquard bottle in case of a bad : bag day god forbid. Also a brown gel pen for transfer's if I need it : and lastly my receipt book. Hope this gives ya'll some idea's : )
