: How can I wrap the palm of the hand and fingers, or some other
: body parts which are difficult to wrap?

For fingers/hand, I unroll cotton balls and use the strips to cover
the design...one along each finger, and others to cover the palm.

Then, depending on the heat/sweat retention desired, I'll either
wrap that with surgical gauze (1" and 2" rolls as found in first
aid suppy areas of department stores) and/or cover that with one
of those plastic gloves as sold for hair dyeing and suchlike.

I use breathable first aid tape (either cloth or paper) to tape
things down.

For areas such as legs & forearms, I do the same; fine designs
protected by cotton, otherwise just wrap with gauze and cover with
plastic kitchen wrap.

For other areas, I simply coat with a couple of layers of liquid
latex (I get mine from a theatrical supply store). One could also
use this for hands too, I assume, but I've not yet tried it.
