Mehndi in Magazines

In this months Elle (June 2001 page 74) in the Reading section thereis a revue of a book called The Hero's Walk by Anita Rau Badami.
There is a small photo of a girl who is either washing her hands or
she is in the rain or both but her hands are hennaed.
Then I picked up the Renaissance magazine special medieval wedding
issue and there is an article on mehndi. It is in the culinary
department since it gives recipes for the mehndi party. The artist is
Amy Bradford. The pictures are black and white but work is lovely.
