It's very like you are scribbling with a henna- colored crayon over paper the same color as your hair. You get shine and strength but if the base color is too dark, you won't get a whole lot of color other than where the light shines through the overlay. I need to redo my hair soon, I will post before (well, sort of before, I've been hennaing my hair for years) and after pics on my site and let you know when they're up. : I've tried for the second time to henna my hair. Once again there's : no color difference. At least this time my hair didn't go all greasy : like last time (That was SO nasty. Had to shampoo 3 times and use : about half a bottle of conditioner to get it back to normal again) My : hair is very dark, and most people I've heard talking about puttig : henna in their hair seem to have light hair, so maybe the color comes : out more quickly for them? Has anyone with dark hair managed to get : any color from henna? I read Catherine's page, supposedly it should. : : ~~Talia
