Great idea for a party! I have done henna at quite a few bridal
showers and everyone loves it.

You should be able to set things up pretty easily. Many things needed
are household items and then you will have to purchase a few specialty
items (check the "where" section of this site for places to get these
items). Here is a list of things you will need:

1. henna powder - green and fesh
2. applicators - jacquard bottles and tips, or plastic cones, or
carrot bags (see the "how" section of this site or the link below)
3. lemon juice
4. sugar
5. cotton balls
6. a couple small bowls and a spoon

Those are the basics needed to make your own paste. The other
alternative is to buy premade paste. Can anyone out there make
suggestions on which premade paste to buy?

You can also get stencils to make quicky easy designs. Stencils are
okay but I think it's more fun to draw freehand. You may think you
can't draw but most people can at least draw lines, circles, squares,
triangles etc. Great designs are built out of these simple shapes.

For more information on mixing your paste and applying it, see the
link below. Feel free to ask us questions...we are not a shy
