I cut my teeth on a huge event where I was busy non-stop. It was a blast but also completely insane. I don't regret it now because I am prepared for almost anything. As for freezing paste, I have heard that it works but I have not tried it. I would be worried about using frozen paste on clients since I can't be sure it will give a good stain. I would prefer to use the frozen stuff on myself and mix up fresh stuff for clients. Experience will tell you how much henna you need for an event. I usually mix up about 2-3 jacquard bottles (1/2 oz. each) for a one day event. You can mix up one jacquard bottle with 1 heaping tsp. of powder. This past friday I did a wedding shower; I did the brides feet and designs on about 10 other people and used only 1 1/2 bottles of henna. I hope this information will be useful in planning your next event.
