Well done! I kept thinking of you yesterday and wondered how you had
got on. I've never done a craft fayre - but I do go to carnival's
and fetes and fairs and you do really well at those - lots of young
people and children who have come out with a few quid to spend. As
for freezing - I use henna mud and I freeze it time and time again.
If you are worried about using it on others and how it will stain
just use it on yourself to check. I went to a place called
Groombridge yesterday, which is a local tourist attraction - gardens,
an enchanted forest, it's a lovely place and the children and Justin
have a wonderful time there. I thought I would just tick over, but
it was manic - in the end Justin was taking the Gazebo down around me
whilst I still had a queue, I had to turn people away because it was
getting too late for the children and it was Francesca's birthday
today and I didn't want her to be over tired. They have booked me
for every bank holiday and event so I'm really exited. The gym thing
looks good - make sure they advertise it and take along plenty of
desings, people go for it more if they have a lot of choice. I'm off
on holiday tomorrow so I'll catch up next week. Take care

: Well I did it. My FIRST EVER craft fair was today and your all
right
: now I'm hooked.
: I didn't have a good nights sleep last nigh and some really strange
: dreams. I was up at 7.15am sieving henna through a stocking (oo-
er).
: I was excited and feeling sick at the same time.
:
: Well we got there eventually and set up (i sell bindis, crystal
: body jewellery and stuff as well).
: My first henna was a simple anklet. I think the fact of me crawling
: around on the floor grabed peoples attention more than anything
else.
: I was as nervous as hell; hands shaking and everything but it went
ok.
: Two more anklets, a dolphin and a fancy "W" was the sum total of my
: hennaing. I must point out that this is a "older" type craft fair.
: You know plants, cakes, knitted stuff, cards and it was very quiet
: but i loved it.
:
: My problem now is that i have made too much henna and my next event
: isn't until the 9 June. what can i do to preserve the henna i made
up
: yesterday. Can i freeze it? should i leave it in the fridge or
what?
: My next event is a charity function so i earn nothing on this but i
: don't want to waste the henna i made today what can i do?
:
: Thank you to everyone who posted their support. I really appreciate
: it. It's so nice to know that there is so much support out there.
