i just finished my first fair this weekend and it was a big one,whew!
4 days, 8 to 10 hours a day, man am i beat and my hands ache. i have
to admit i did a lot better than i figured, not as good as last year,
but enough to get things rolling again.

i had a real hard time getting myself going this year after my
husband had his triple by pass. i don't think i was depressed really
but it took the steam out of me. now i am wondering why i didn't get
started earier, i really enjoyed the artistic flow. plus i finally
realized how much better i am getting. it used to be that i had to
line things up more and/or trace and now the henna is flowing.
i did several of ccj's full hand designs and went for broke by just
starting them, what a challenge, and loved it. i just wish my camera
hadn't broken. (thanks again, catherine, loved using your new book!)

sorry everyone, just feeling a great satisfaction and couldn't go to
sleep until i told someone who might understand. lately everyone
around here just rolls their eyes at me, like, man there mom goes
again!
anyway, i guess i better get to bed, it's around 12:30 am now and i
have to get up with the hubby.
