The printer says: "Henna, the Joyous Body Art:, Pattern Book #1" is
ready. I just have to drive down to W.Va. to pick it up, and I plan
to do that Friday. I'll start filling orders next Monday.

There were adjustments in the cost of paper, etc, and hours required
to print the book, so the physical book costs a little more than I
thought .. but such is life (and business). I wanted to get a book
into your hands that would survive being a WORKING ARTIST'S book on
your table every weekend! I think the extra $ will be worth it!
The physical book and the pattern books which follow, will retail at
$20. It's available as a e-book for $10. Sometime around August,
there'll be another printing, and then it will be available through
bookstores. Right now, it will be available from myself, as the
"Special Artist's Edition", signed and numbered with something nice
extra..... and through anyone else who decides they'd like to buy it
from me to resell. (Should be a good seller!)

They say the video, "Henna, the Joyous Body Art, the Traditions of
Mothers and Daughters" is ready too. I expect a copy of that in my
mailbox soon, so I'll have a look at it and see if St. Ed Wood was
smiling upon me...... I know the history, traditions and information
in the video is excellent. It's not a broadcast quality video ... but
content will, I hope, outshine any production problems.

If you want a free pattern page to see if you like the way its laid
out ..... email me and tell me what's on the list at
http://reverndbunny.sphosting.com/patbook1.html that you'd like to
see.

If you have a henna website, and would be willing to put an ad for my
publishing company on your site with a link .... I'll send you the
e-book free.

Looks as though there will be many henna pattern, tradition and
history books coming out of TapDancing Lizard in the future! I've
done the paperwork to make it a proper publishing company, with ISBN
#'s, registrations, and over the next 3 months will complete
everything to make it possible for bookstores, libraries and all to
access these books. There's never been a publishing company devoted
entirely to henna.... and I'm very pleased with the enthusiasm thus
far. I think there will be 3 books published each year .... and the
first volume of the "Encyclopedia of Henna, the History of Henna from
7000 BCE to 600 CE" should be ready to go to press at the first of
next year.

Its going to be interesting!
