Henna paste doesn't last that long, maybe 2-3 days. Freezingsometimes helps it last longer.
The most important ingredient for fool-proof dark staining henna
paste is good henna powder. With good powder you can just add lemon
juice and go. Shop around and get small samples of different
powders; compare the different powders when mixed with plain lemon
juice. You should be able to find a powder you like and then you can
start jazzing it up with teas, oils, etc.
