I am careful to stay away from situations where "henna me, henna me,
henna me" becomes frantic. Working as a full time artist under heavy
stress in such situations for 30 years trashed my health and I don't
want to go there again. When I find myself pressed to do more, more,
more .... I fill a few extra cones of henna and hand them to other
people, and say "here's how to do it, wouldn't you like to try this
yourself?" That's been an an absolute godsend several times. The
people still hand me a $ or two for supplies, and are far happier
playing than waiting in line! I go one hennaeing for $ one at a time,
but the pressure evaporates, and everone has a much better time. I
lose not a single $, because I can only henna one person at at time,
and I'm still not getting up from the table. For me, "letting go" is
the best answer. There is simply no need for me to do every last henna
for every last person that demands it. I put the henna in their hands
... they're happy, I'm happy.

Think hard about what YOU want, what's important to you, and put
yourself in those circumstances. If the situation becomes impossible
.... change the rules!
