Just a couple of days, (unless you can remove all oxygen from the batch by inerting, i.e. doing the whole job in a nitrogen atmospbere or something .. something pre-mix paste makers often do). The minute the hennotannic acid molecule gets near something that's going to zap the h off the upper right hand corner (oxygen for instance), it's going to demise. : Where is the best place on the web to order powder? There are so : many sites I'm confused! Look through the pix at the link below ... I try to put the source of the powder and technique on the same page as the pic of the results. : I have a gut feeling that I will prefer the powder over the pre- : mixed - is this usually the case? Since the FDA is getting very picky about pre-made paste for henna body art .... it would be smart to learn to use powder. As I understand the law, any pre-made is pretty much liable to seizure either at the border or in interstate commerce. 100% pure henna powder is legal for use in hair, and is shippable and importable in that form, and then you can verify for a customer precisely what you put in it. Any paste for body art, especially if the ingredients are unlabled or improperly labeled, is going to be more and more under scrutiny. : When using the applicator bottles vs. the cones - how can I keep the : mix from catching air as it comes through the tip? Sift, sift, sift, sift. : I guess I sound like a true beginner . . . Aghhhhh! Everybody was a beginner once!
