The terpines as a group knock out henna 1/3 to 1/2 faster! The good
news is that if you want "quick in, quick out" henna with NO orange
... the various oils that have high terpine contents will do that for
you! (Euc may be in the terpine group, but since there are 70
varieties of eucalyptus tree, and no mention of what sort is the
source of the oil .... (and Mark showed me some eucs that were VASTLY
different from any euc I'd ever whiffed) .... I may have never gotten
hold of a high-terpine euc before!)

I had frankincense oil in the paste when I went to the UK, and it was
totally gone in 18 days. I usually last 25 days! There was virtually
no orange phase though.

The batch of Jamila vs the CA in my fridge has "sweeter reds" and the
CA has "punchier darks" .... you can see the results on various pix at
the link below. Different harvests have different characteristics.
That's why I like to try various kinds of henna against each other.
Once I see what the henna's characteristics are with just lemon juice
and steam, then I can play with that h on the corner....

Of course ... the henna fade out may have lots to do with your
exfoliation variables at the time ... and that changes!
