I had a henna dream last week and you just reminded me! In it,
Catherine was hosting a huge party at the beautiful old villa where
she lived. Kenzi, Kree, Nick, and a bunch of other people I didn't
know were there, doing full body henna on these older women. It was
one of those languid, slow-moving, lushly colored dreams with lots of
water and plants. Oh yeah, and it was set in a place that was
simultaneously New York and Seattle. Weird.
I think whatever you spend as much time doing as many of us do henna,
it's got to be going into your subconscious somehow...

: I just woke from a dream involving henna and Catherine. She and I
: were in an art book store where we both saw a poster for an artist
who
: seemed to be working in henna. The poster said that she used "herbs
: and henna scent to paint bodies" and showed her hennaing the shaved
: head of a young boy using a jacquard bottle. In the way that dreams
: do, the poster became a movie of her hennaing this boy's head; she
did
: a really large design and then rubbed it into his head and reapplied
a
: new design. We were mystified not only at the art but also the
: description of her medium as "herbs and henna scent".
