If you read a post by me a couple of weeks ago, you would have heard
how my two blonde daughters hennaed their hair with some left over
powder. After advice from other members of this forum I decided to
reapply it more evenly, rather than attempt to remove it.

Initially, their hair was a fiery red, and I mean bright, bright,
bright. After a couple of shampoo's, their natural streaks showed
through, and it changed to a thousand shades of red & orange -
lovely.

A few weeks later down the track it is a deep orangy colour. They
are already begging me to reapply the henna, to restore the initial
brightness.

I suppose it would depend on your natural hair colour, to how fast
the fading would occur. I would imagine if you have fair hair it
would take quite a long time for the henna to completely fade. Maybe
do a test patch first so that you are aware of the end colour.

Hope this helps

Regards
Anne
