But if I repeat, the color won't be the lovely reddish but nearly
black. I like the red. Is there any other way?

: Yep, repeat is really the only thing you can do for areas like
: fingers. For tougher and thicker areas like soles, i often use
: the 'wet-wrap' method, which involves slathering very thick paste
: onto the skin, letting it dry and hair-drying for about 10 minutes
: just to take the edge off, and wrapping while it is still wet. This
: will keep it at maximum moisture level, and also give a very red
deep
: and solid color, without cracks etc. Once it begins to fade, it may
: do so in blotches and begin to look nasty, and this is where repeat
: comes in. When it reaches a dark orange, but not yet wimpy pumpkin,
: just redo the whole thing. The next time it fades it will be MUCH
: more even, and the more times you repeat it the better it will look.
:
: A warning- do NOT attempt the 'wet-wrap' on your fingers! I dipped
: mine once, and wrapped, to wake up at 2 in the morning with
severely
: swollen and waterlogged fingers lacking much feeling! Thank gosh
the
: swelling and logged-ness went down by late morning, but it was
still
: pretty scary at the time!
:
: I have finally let the henna fade off my feet, just from sheer lack
: of time to re-henna, so now i have to start the process all over
: again... oh well, the results are stunning, and well worth it.

: : application is the trick to get good solid color. Give it a try.
