Titanium dioxide is an inert mineral.Posted by Faery Ring on June 14, 2001 at 18:15:26: In reply to: Titanium dioxide in Pakistani premixed cones ... posted by Jewel on June 14, 2001 at 02:23:06: Titanium dioxide is an inert mineral. I doubt that it wouldinterfere with the stain. But at some point you would be cutting the amount of henna powder with titanium dioxide if you start using a lot of it. So I figure one should be sparing with it just to be safe. I really like the texture of it. It almost feels oily-it is so slick and smooth feeling on the skin. I have no idea of it has any other benefits but it is used as a physical sunblock in many sunblock formulas (you’ve probably seen the zinc oxide on a lifeguard’s nose). So maybe the light won’t deteriorate the paste if it is sitting in the sun! :) :) :)
