private party and Kenzi's henna (long)

Did a private henna party last night and it went well. I did about 5
designs - one of them was my first anklet - I used the gell pen and
made dots around the ankle so that I could stay even - I think Kenzi
or Myst recommended doing that, It worked!
I was very pleased with the results...not perfect (but then I never
have been) but the design was straight.
I also sold some anklets and hand bracelets-all in all, not a bad
night.
Oh, I also used Kenzi's henna - it's very nice...no straining
needed. It seem to be a different consistency than the CA stuff.
Easier to pull long lines with...stays kind of "stringy" (for lack of
a better word)
I found that when I add just Pine oil (no other oils) to the CA stuff
I get this stringy effect as well. Maybe it's just me?
I haven't been able to experiment on myself with Kenzi's henna...I
had a design on my hand and I just went over it with this new batch
of henna so I can't really tell what color I get with the moroccon
stuff.
I'll have to do my right foot or something (my left foot is fading
away and I want to get rid of it so I can do a new design) so I can
see what type of color results I get. I HATE waiting for the designs
to fade off - I'm too impatient and my festival schedule is getting
pretty busy.....I seem to have to go over old designs more often than
not. Does anyone else have this problem?
