My cats and dogs here are very affectionate, and love visitors, but
don't take interest in the henna. Three of the cats and the elderly
pugdog feel it is their job to be companionable to all my models and
clients when they come in for henna (one was very cute .... the only
way we could get a 6 year old to be still was to park a purring kitten
on her) ... but only once has one investigated henna. That was
RiffRaff, Magenta's brother, who checked out the paste and had an
orange paw for few weeks.

Every so often I dab a bit of henna on one of them, but they are
disdainful of it, and give me weary looks when I do so.
