More questions about henna on hair!

Thanks to all who replied to my questions regardng whether henna will
fade or not (I put a flaming red on my hair and think it is a bit too
"brassy!).

However, at work today, lots of poeple actually LIKED it and said how
healthy and shiny my hair was etc., so I am now thinking of keeping
it!

My next set of questions then (being a novice user) - I understand tha
it fade slightly BUT does that mean I will have roots and can I just
re-apply the same shade on my roots if so, without doing the entire
head (don't want it to too flaming red you know!).
