If you paid with a credit card you are protected somewhat. You cancontact your credit card company and tell them of the problem. They
will usually put through a chargeback which means they contact the
company you ordered from and get the money back. This costs the
company money so they prefer to avoid this complication. If a
company has a certain number of chargebacks as percentage of total
credit card sales they go on probation, and if the trend continues
their merchant account is revoked and they can no longer accept
credit cards. This might be a very effective way to get action out
of them.
