potential allergies?

Just as there are many people who are allergic to cloves, there are
many (such as myself) who are allergic to shellfish and seaweed. I
get a reaction from eating seaweed - I've never actually handled
seaweed, but if someone uses a fork or other utensil to touch seaweed
and then I use it (like at a buffet), I'll have a reaction. If
someone is using it in a vegan mask and uses that on a person who's
allergic, what will happen? (I wonder about folks with latex
allergies, also.)
