My previous boss felt that it was too distracting (I'm a trainer) and
wouldn't allow me to wear any on my hands. In our dress code it says
no visible, offensive tattoos and she felt it was a form of tattoo
(she caught me off guard and I didn't know how to explain it wasn't a
tattoo). Since our new manager started, she has not said anything,
so I've been doing small designs at a time. If she complains, I've
already figured out what I will say about Mendi not being a tattoo
(thanks to this forum), but as long as she doesn't say I can't...I'll
continue to express my artistic side this way.
