questions for youPosted by veggiesaurus on June 28, 2001 at 18:50:20: In reply to: I need a reliable and consistent source of henna posted by Maureen on June 28, 2001 at 17:40:23: : The henna designs come out beautifully on: skin of darker hues. The henna produces a beautiful stain of a : contrasting hue on the skin of African Americans as it does on the : skin of other people. Sorry I don't have any answers for you - I would like to ask you a question or two though. I've done some henna designs on my husband, who is African American. I did a couple of patterns on the top of his foot, and one on his chest. They were all somewhat difficult to see - do you tend to stick to bolder designs, or mainly decorate palms and soles? Or maybe you add something to the henna that helps? The henna I use comes out really dark on my pale skin, but barely shows on my husband. Any advice you (or others) can give would be appreciated.
