: I added a few drops of
: : frankincense oil and it is darker than it was the day after it
was
: : made! I'm amazed. My wrist and ankle NEVER get dark (at least
not
: : until now). Have I been tossing out the henna too early or do
you
: : think it was the oil?
:
: It's the Frankincense EO!!!!

How long does your henna typically last from the time you mix it
until it no longer stains? I've been tossing any unused henna paste
out after a couple of days, thinking that it wouldn't stain any more.
:
: I did a Persian rabbit pattern on my hand in May with Frankincense
: mixed Henna. I don't have a pic .... it was on my hand when I was
in
: the UK .. but I swear it was the loveliest darkest henna I EVER
did !
: Sometime, I'll have the pic back of it .... it's not been
developed
: yet. The color was equal to if not better than cajeput. The fade
down
: was even pretty.
:
: My caj is almost a week old now ... and I like the way its fading!
: It's pretty! Like a sepia ink drawing that's slowly disappearing
with
: age on the back of my hand, and on the palm, there is virtually no
: orange ... just the velvety black lines slowly disappearing into
sepia
: then vanishing.
