It's a very dryish henna paste that you grasp and have your hands
bound up for a long time. Then a fortune teller reads your fortune in
the stains.

That's done sometimes in the Yemen ... I can't think of any reason
that it would not also be done in Egypt.


I read hands, I *red* hands, but I don't know how to read red hands.
